Our story

Järvenpään kotiseurakunta is a multicultural Christian church founded in 2021 that upholds the authority of the Bible. Everyone is welcome in our church, regardless of their Christian background or nationality.
We want to share Christ’s love, peace, and grace, while also remaining faithful to sound biblical teaching. Our hope is that Järvenpään kotiseurakunta could be a spiritual home and family for many, including those who have not found a home elsewhere.
You are welcome to attend our gatherings in Järvenpää or follow our live stream on YouTube.

Our guiding principles

Our mission

Järvenpään kotiseurakunta is a multicultural Christian church that honors the authority of the Bible. Everyone is welcome in our church, regardless of their spiritual background or nationality.
We desire to share Christ’s love, peace, and grace — while remaining faithful to sound biblical teaching. Our hope is that Järvenpään kotiseurakunta could be a spiritual home and family for many, including those who have not found a home elsewhere.

Our vision

Our vision is to reach people so that as many as possible may hear about God’s love and the salvation He has prepared through Jesus, and come to know God personally in their own lives.

Our values

Every person is valuable, having been created in the image of God. Diversity is a richness that is united by God’s love. Jesus is our example of the kind of life we strive to live and is worthy of all our praise. Our teaching is founded on God’s Word, the Bible. Everyone is welcome.
