God
There is only one eternal God Almighty, who has revealed himself in the Trinity – The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit – the Creator of the world, the beginner and sustainer of Life.
Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is God’s only begotten Son, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit and was born of the virgin Mary. Jesus is God and man at the same time. He is God who became man and thus is sinless and suitable to reconcile our sins. Jesus died on the cross for our sins suffering the punishment of our sins. He rose from the dead and ascended into heaven and is seated on the right hand of God the Father.
The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is the invisible Spirit of God, who has inspired the Holy Scriptures of the Bible and who will come within a man, when he becomes a believer and accepts the salvation in Jesus. The Holy Spirit fills the believer and guides and influences on how to live in accordance with God’s will.
The Bible
Bible is God’s message given to mankind regarding God and man and reveals God’s plan to save all mankind. The Bible is God-inspired and written within a 1500–year period by 40 people who were inspired by the Holy Spirit. The Bible is the Word of God and the only ground for our doctrine.
Man
Man is a being created as God’s image, but fell to sin in the beginning of the history of the mankind and was separated from his Creator. All men are sinners by nature and will be born to this world in separation from God. No man can be favorable to God by themselves, but all need salvation, which is given by the grace of God as a gift to all who confess their sinfulness to God.
Sin
Sin is disobedience to God and manifests itself as rebellion against God. Sin separates man from God and the consequence of this is both corporal and spiritual death.
Coming to faith, to be born again
A man can come into faith and be born again, when they believe in Jesus and in His atoning work on the Cross, confessing their sins to God, and their desire to repent of their deeds. Coming to faith makes us children of God, and we will be forgiven of our sins and made free from the punishment of death and over the power of sin. We shall become partakers in eternal life in communion with God.
Baptism
Baptism is connected to the experience of coming into faith and represents the burial of the old sinful man and the resurrection of the new man who has come into faith. A person is baptised into Christ in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit by submerging into the water representing the death of the former life.
The Church
The Church is formed of believers who have been born again, regardless of which branch of christianity they represent. Crucial is how each person has reacted to God’s plan and salvation, which is in Jesus. Only God knows the real state of every person’s heart.
The Holy Communion
The Holy Communion has been set by Jesus as a New Covenant and a memorial meal, in which we will recall the death of Jesus for us. The bread, which we will break represents the body of Jesus, which he gave for us on the cross on Calvary and the cup, which we will bless will represent the blood of Jesus, which he shed on the cross. The bread and the cup are the communion of the body and the blood of Jesus and in those are the promise of resurrection.
The Resurrection
When Jesus rose from the dead, he had a new resurrected body, which wasn’t under the physical laws of this world. He was revealed in an eternal immortal body. We have been promised to get a similar resurrection and immortal resurrected body. That body we will get in the end of the age of this world in connection of the general resurrection.
Second coming of Jesus and judgement
Jesus promised to come for the second time and then as a King and victory over death. He will come to judge all the nations and God´s own will then get resurrected bodies and the entrance to eternal life in the new land, which God has prepared for his own. Those who had rejected the salvation of Jesus, will then be punished to eternal damnation, which is eternal separation from God.
Heaven
God will create a new heaven and a new earth and the New Jerusalem, which is a dwelling place, which God has prepared for his own people. All mortal and items connected to sin are shut away from there. The devil and all wickedness are shut out and no death, sickness and crying will be no more. We shall live eternally in communion with God and will meet all the saints who have previously passed.
